Together with my colleagues, I support hundreds of companies, both SMEs and large enterprises. As a result, I have a lot of contact with different people.

My specialisms are sustainable procurement, traceability and the forest and wood labels FSC® and PEFC. I help companies incorporate the requirements into their own daily practice. This is where my work experience at a sustainability label and a timber importer comes in handy. Here, it is increasingly important to assess how new (inter)national regulations become relevant for a company. After all, this is more and more also indirect, for instance because a customer has to meet requirements.

My experience with agro-chains (fruit, hazelnuts, coffee, cocoa, and livestock), comes in handy in my advisory work on the new EUDR.

In both forestry and agriculture, I like to "seek the source". For instance, in addition to my work for DuraCert, I also have a sizeable pear orchard, and have developed the training course "forest manager for a day". This is a day in the middle of a certified forest to experience the practice of wood production with care for nature, people and the environment!
