This privacy statement informs you about the nature, scope, use and purpose of the collection of personal data we process. DuraCert is responsible for the data protection. This includes the following companies:

"Personal data' means all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as 'data subject'); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, as the name, identification number, location, online identification or one or more specific characteristics. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

  • Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website or app, in correspondence and by telephone.

II. Collection, storage and processing of personal data

Personal data is only collected, used and passed on if this is required by law or if the user has given his or her consent. If the purpose of processing your personal data changes, you will be informed immediately.

Server Log files

Our Internet Service Provider collects and stores the following information each time you visit this website: Web browser; operating system used; website from which you visit us (referrer URL); website visited; requesting provider; date and time of access; amount of data transmitted and IP address (Internet Protocol). These so-called server log files are only used for internal and system related statistical purposes. Nevertheless, we reserve the right to check this log data afterwards if there is a concrete suspicion of unlawful use of our website.

Contact us

If you contact us, for example via our contact form, by e-mail or by telephone, the personal data that you voluntarily provide to us will be collected and stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and for the execution and processing of the agreements concluded with you. We only use the data that you voluntarily provide to us. A comparison with other data determined by us as well as a transfer to third parties does not take place.

The personal data will be deleted, unless this is necessary and there are no legal storage obligations. If you do not provide us with all the information we need to assess your request, we will not be able to process it.

Special and/or sensitive personal data

DuraCert does not process any special and/or sensitive personal data. Our website and/or service does not have the intention to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is over 16 years old. We therefore recommend that parents are involved in their children's online activities in order to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us at info@duracert.com and we will delete that information.

Viewing, modifying or deleting data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or data transfer to info@duracert.com. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, please enclose a copy of your identity document with the request. We ask you to blacken your passport photo and identity number in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. DuraCert will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

Security

DuraCert takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized alteration. If you have the impression that your data is not secure or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at info@duracert.com.

Why we need data

DuraCert processes your personal data for the following purposes in connection with fulfilling the agreement with you or entering into an agreement with you:

  • To be able to call you if this is necessary in order to be able to perform our services;
  • Inform you about changes to our services and products;
  • To deliver goods and services to you;
  • DuraCert analyses your behaviour on our website in order to improve our website and tailor our range of products and services to your preferences.
How long we store data

DuraCert will not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Our retention period(s) are: for as long as we deliver our services to you and then up to a maximum of 7 years.

Cookies

The CMS system used by us uses so-called cookies to make the use of our website more user-friendly and effective. These are small files that are stored on your computer. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies", which are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of your use of our website or browser session. III. Use of third party services and content

1. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is generally transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google has undertaken to comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield Agreement published by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal data in EU Member States. This website uses IP anonymization ("_anonymizeIp()"). This means that when using our website, your IP address is only recorded in a short form in order to exclude direct personal contact.

Your IP address will previously be reduced by Google in Member States of the European Union or in other States that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the entire IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. 2. LinkedIn

Our website uses functions of the LinkedIn network. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and when you visit our websites that contain LinkedIn features, a connection to the LinkedIn servers is established. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website with your IP address. If you also click on the "Recommended button" of LinkedIn and you are logged in to your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn can assign your visit to our website to you and your user account. We do not know how LinkedIn uses the information provided.

IV. Rights of the persons concerned

You can always ask us, free of charge, if and which of your data we have stored. In addition, you may request, free of charge, that your personal data stored by us be limited, deleted, corrected and transferred, unless otherwise provided for by law. In addition, you have the right to appeal to a supervisor. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time with effect from the future. V. Legal Basis

In principle, your personal data will only be processed in the context of the processing of your request or in the context of the execution of a joint contract (in accordance with art. 6 para 1 sub b DSGVO). If there is no agreement yet, you agree that we process it before processing your request (legal basis consent in accordance with art. 6 para 1 under a DSGVO). You can withdraw this permission at any time in accordance with article 7 paragraph 3 of the DSGVO. In addition, we reserve the right to use your contact details to provide you with information about other services we provide (legal basis for legitimate interests in accordance with article 6, paragraph 1, under f DSGVO).
